How to reinstall windows 7 without disc. How to reinstall Windows without a disk and a flash drive. Clean installation of Windows on a computer

With prolonged use of a computer, any user sooner or later is puzzled by the fact that the system is cluttered, residual files do not want to be voluntarily deleted, and the laptop is loaded at the speed of a wounded snail. Also, some viruses, although they can be treated at first glance, still leave their tiny trace. In the future, it grows exponentially and affects the entire system completely. Therefore, the user begins to ask the vital question: “How to reinstall Windows system 7?"

Of course, to solve these problems, you can use the services of plugins or start using a new antivirus, but such a solution will be temporary, and in a few weeks the situation will not only repeat itself, but also worsen. In addition, sometimes the computer simply leaves no choice, threateningly welcoming the "blue screen of death" with farewell instructions.

Reinstalling the operating system in a specialized salon costs a lot, so today we will save a couple of thousand and learn how to reinstall the OS ourselves. But before you reinstall your Windows 7 system, there are a few things you need to do.

Preparing and saving data

How to properly reinstall Windows 7? In order to protect yourself from losing important files after reinstalling the system, you should spend a little time and save those documents that you may need in the future to a USB flash drive or disk.

For example, not everyone wants to lose the achieved result in their favorite game. It is enough just to find and save one small file, which is located in the AppData folder of the user. If a folder with this name is not displayed, you need to go to "Computer" - "Local Disk" - "Users" - "your name" and click on "Organize" there, then select folder and search options in the drop-down menu.

And put a marker on "Show hidden folders and files."

How to save favorites and links from the browser

  • For the Mozilla Firefox browser, you will need to go to "Local Disk" - "Users" - "Username" - "Favorites" and save the entire folder.
  • To save data Google Chrome go to "Local Disk" - "Users" - "Username" - "AppData" - "Local" - "Google" - "Chrome" and save the User Data folder.
  • For Internet Explorer just save the "Favorites" folder located in "Local Disk" - "Users" - "Username".
  • When working with Opera, we go in a known way to the AppData folder and then Opera, you only need to save the bookmarks.adr file.

Saving torrent files

To save torrent files, go to AppData, find the uTorrent folder there and copy it completely. After reinstalling the system, the saved folder must be placed in the same location. This also applies to saved games and bookmarks in browsers.

When all the necessary data, photos and other needs have been successfully saved, we start reinstalling the OS to the drum roll.

How to properly reinstall Windows 7

If there is a disk with operating system, then we insert it into the drive, after which the automatic reinstallation of the OS should begin, although in 60% of cases this does not happen. What to do in such a situation in order to understand how to reinstall Windows 7? "BIOS" is a mystical word, upon hearing which, many begin to get nervous. In fact, there is nothing wrong with the BIOS, if you do not touch anything extra (and in this case, all parameters can be restored). In order to get to your destination, you need:

  • restart the computer;
  • Press the del key 2-3 times before the Windows splash screen appears. If the transition to the BIOS did not happen, just repeat the procedure again.

So, if everything is done correctly, the following image should appear before your eyes:

Next, find the First Boot Device and set the value on the CD-ROM. This means that when the computer starts up, it will automatically load data from the disk first. It is very important after installing the software not to forget to return everything as it was, or the computer will forever install the system (if you also forgot to pull out the disk).

Press f10 to save changes. If all the conditions have been met, then the system will be reinstalled.

The next window prompts us to select the language, date and set the time. We set simple parameters, and feel free to click "next", "install" and accept the license agreement.

type of instalation

  • Upgrade - only suitable if the system is reinstalled for minor reasons. If the decision was made in connection with the "screen of death" or if malware has clearly settled on the computer, we definitely choose the full installation.
  • Full installation (custom) - reinstalls the OS literally from scratch, mercilessly destroying everything that can harm it.

Disk configuration

Here you have to choose which disk will appear as a local one, that is, the one on which the software will be installed.

If you think logically, then the volume of the system disk should be within 35 GB, but not less. It should be borne in mind that many of us like to save files on the principle of "throw it on the desktop for now, so as not to forget." All documents, pictures, etc., which are located on the desktop, are stored on the system disk, as well as files from the Downloads folder. Thus, when calculating the volume of a local disk, it is worth being generous.

Click "Next" and go to have a bite, we have at least 45 minutes. During the installation, the computer will restart several times, which you will kindly warn about. It is not worth interfering with this, if unforeseen situations do not occur in the process, after 45-50 minutes new Windows 7 will be successfully installed.

The next step is the username and computer name. If at some point you need to change these settings, then this is done simply: "Start" - right-click on "Computer" - "Properties". We find "Computer name, domain name and settings working group and then click "Change settings".

It is not necessary to set a password, so you can skip this step by clicking "Next".

You will also need to enter a product key. You can find it on the bottom of the laptop or on a special sticker on the system unit (in the event that you purchased the equipment along with a licensed disk).

If the software was installed from another disk, then the key must be indicated on the box. Well, if the system was installed illegally, you can skip this item and forget about this issue for about a month. After 30 days Nice picture on the desktop will be replaced by a black screen, and some functions and devices may turn off. If this does not bother you, then you can safely work with the system further or be puzzled by finding a suitable key on the Internet.

When choosing the type of update installation, it is best to use the recommended settings. If the system does not automatically update, then sooner or later there may be minor problems with the most commonly used programs. The update fixes minor bugs and optimizes the OS.

How to reinstall Windows 7 without a disc or from a flash drive

Sometimes it happens that there is no disk with Windows, or the CD-ROM is blind and categorically refuses to cooperate. Do not despair, there are no hopeless situations. There are several ways to install the system using other media. For example, you can reinstall Windows 7 from a flash drive.

Reinstalling the system using a flash drive

First, download the OS image to your computer. After that, install the Ultra Iso program or you can use Daemon Tools, the algorithm is approximately the same.

Next, we take a flash drive or memory card, but it’s worth noting right away that the BIOS will not see any of the drives installed via the USB-3 connector, so be careful and use USB-2. Externally, the connectors do not differ; in some devices, USB-3 is marked in blue. If there is no identification mark, then everything is simple. We find in any search engine information about the characteristics of a laptop or computer, and then - information about which side the connectors we need are installed on.

In order to prepare a flash drive for further work, it must be formatted, even if there is nothing on it. Then we perform the following actions:

  • In UltraIso, open the Windows 7 image that we have already downloaded (“File” - “Open” - select the program image).
  • We find "Self-upload" in the top menu and select "Burn image hard drive».
  • In the window that opens, specify the formatted flash drive.
  • We confirm the check, and set the recording method to USB-HDD +.
  • Click "Record".
  • We agree with the fact that all files will be erased from the USB flash drive (although we formatted it, we still set it to “Yes”).
  • Voila! If we see “Recording completed”, then the job is done, and you can start reinstalling.
  • We go to the BIOS in a known way, described above, and in the First Boot Device we select the recorded USB flash drive.

Reinstalling Windows 7 using a DVD image

Another way will tell you how to reinstall Windows 7 via CD-ROM without a license disc.

Why DVD? Everything is elementary, a regular CD will not work for the only simple reason - there is not enough volume, and the OS image "weighs" about 3 GB.

If for these purposes you decide to use a DVD disc that already has something on it, then, as in the situation with a flash drive, you need to resort to formatting.

Now we open the already well-known UltraIso program, go to "File" - "Open" and find the downloaded image of "Windows".

Then we go to the "Tools" menu and click "Burn CD image", in the window that appears, check the box for "Check", dutifully agree with the fact that everything on the disk will be destroyed and click "Burn".

That's all, after the message “Recording completed” appears, our disk is ready. We think everyone has already guessed what to do next. That's right: we go to the BIOS and select the recorded disk as the First Boot Device.

How to go back from Windows 7 to XP

Sometimes it is difficult for users to master the new system, so it is easier for some to reinstall Windows 7 on XP. The installation procedure is not much different from that described earlier, with the exception of a few points:

  1. After proceeding to the installation, the system prompts you to choose which partition (that is, on which disk) the OS will be installed. In order to destroy the previously installed Windows 7 with the root, you need to select the appropriate partition. After that, there will be 4 formatting options to choose from, the only correct one of which is "Format the partition in the NTFS system". After that, the computer usually restarts and begins the installation of the system.
  2. If there is an urgent desire to install two operating systems at once on one computer or laptop, then, on the contrary, we select the partition that is not occupied by system files. This is usually the D drive.

Reinstalling Windows 8 to 7

Despite the fact that the majority of users have positively evaluated the seventh version of the software from Microsoft, the "eight" has collected quite contradictory responses. Since the latest version is fundamentally different from all the previous ones, sometimes there is a desire to replace the OS.

In order to reinstall Windows 8 to 7, you will need to go into the BIOS and set the primary priority on the CD-ROM (how to do this was described earlier).

After that, we save the changes and proceed to boot from the disk or from another medium. The type of installation when changing Windows 8 to 7 can only be “New installation”, since the OS is different, there is no need to talk about any updates.

It is also necessary to delete all sections, including hidden ones. After that, no longer thinking about how to reinstall Windows computer 7, do the rest:

  • specify the time, date and keyboard layout;
  • agree to the terms, indicate the username and computer;
  • enter the key, etc.

After installation (drivers)

As a rule, reinstalling Windows 7 on a laptop or computer is quite easy, but after the OS replacement process, many users have a number of questions. For example:

  • “Why did the image quality deteriorate after installing a new system?”
  • “Why does a computer or laptop not see a USB flash drive?”
  • "Why did the sound get worse?" etc.

All this happens most often when the reinstallation was carried out by downloading the OS or buying a disk from hand (you don’t have to think about how to reinstall a Windows 7 computer, but some “jambs” still pop up). In order to solve a number of such problems, it is enough to download the drivers from the official website of the manufacturer. Or pay attention to the drivers before reinstalling the system.

Let's take an example. Suppose, before reinstalling Asus Windows 7, the user was not puzzled by the question of saving data from his laptop, or he simply did not have the opportunity to do so. How to be?

It's simple, just type in the search engine the model (the manufacturer's company is enough) of the device and add the cherished phrase "Download drivers from the official site." Then go to the link of the manufacturer's website and there, in the appropriate form, indicate the full model of the laptop. Next, you have to download all the presented drivers one by one and install them one by one on the laptop. There are no tricks in the installation, since the drivers themselves install themselves where they should.

If, for one reason or another, the drivers went on a rampage and were installed in the wrong place, you can go to the device manager and force them to update.

In order to get into the remote control, you can simply type "Device Manager" in search line that pops up when you press Start. Next, right-click on the driver that is marked with an exclamation mark. And we select "Update drivers", in the new window it remains only to indicate that the required files need to be searched on the computer itself and indicate the place where they were installed.

If all drivers are installed normally in the device manager, the image will improve and the screen resolution will increase to the required level.

Finally

The computer can “fly” at any time, so it is worth considering organizing a backup storage of high-value files before reinstalling Windows 7. This way you can save a lot of time after installing the system, because it is quite possible that even the most elementary programs ( Word, etc.) will have to be searched and installed again.

Reinstalling Windows 7 on a laptop or computer is not difficult; even a novice user can cope with this task. The main thing is to approach the issue responsibly and spend an hour saving all the useful information from the computer even before reinstalling the OS.

Often a situation arises when the question of reinstalling the operating system becomes relevant. Let's take a specific case. There is a laptop purchased with Windows 7 already preinstalled. Windows itself is still, one might say, in working order, but the user is pretty worried about some circumstances. What exactly? Due to external virus attacks, as well as in the process of work, errors accumulate over and over again, which leads the computer to a rather slow boot process, and the rest software not pleased with their former performance. At the same time, cleaning the registry, anti-virus measures and returning to a previously recorded restore checkpoint do not give the expected results. The only way out is to reinstall the system. How does this process take place?

It is worth noting that a laptop with a preinstalled system is good because its manufacturer has taken care of the distribution of the operating system, which is stored in a hidden section of the device's hard drive. There are also drivers and source programs. All this gives an excellent opportunity to reinstall, if there are good reasons for that. There are two specific situations. If things are really bad and the system does not want to start, then the recovery starts by pressing a certain key when turned on. What it is depends on the specific manufacturer. You can find it out in the user manual.

But we have a different case - the OS is in working order. We proceed step by step to reinstall Windows 7 without a boot disk or flash drive.

Step 1. Click the Start button and launch the Control Panel. If it is in the "Categories" view, then go to "Large Icons" or "Small Icons". In this case, it is easier to find the "Recovery" tab.

Step 2 We open it. We are interested in the lowest option “Advanced recovery methods”.

Step 3 Let's launch it. A window appears where it reminds you that when restoring the system partition, and this is usually the entire working disk, all data and documents created by the user will be erased.

You should be careful and accurate when copying all the necessary data to information media (disks, flash drives, external usb drives).

If the data was copied beforehand, then press the button “ Skip“, then the computer will prompt you to reboot, which will start the system installation process.

At the bottom there is a button Output” in order to return to the system again before installation to continue copying important information.

Step 4 After successful completion, Windows will have the factory settings and original programs at the time of purchase of the laptop. By the way, you do not need to enter the serial number of the licensed software and activate it. All this, in most cases, is already integrated into the direct installation process. The user can only install the software tools he needs and customize the desktop at his discretion.

As can be seen from this short instruction, the process of reinstalling Windows 7 without a disk and a flash drive does not require special knowledge and is available to everyone completely free of charge. It can be handled by anyone, who will show accuracy and care at the same time.

If for some reason you did not manage to install windows 7 on your own, then you can contact us for help or try.

Consider the situation: Our laptop with a pre-installed licensed OS has stopped loading. Windows 7. All attempts to boot the system fail. What can be done with this, provided that we do not have a disk with Windows and we want to restore the license system.

There are two options.

1) Restore the Windows system from the bootable backup area of the laptop. (if you have a personal PC, then immediately go to option number 2

Almost every manufacturer of a modern laptop creates a special partition on the hard drive that allows you to restore Windows. Each manufacturer has different software and is called by different keys.

To restore the system, we need to restart the laptop and press a special key before windows loads.

After pressing this key, the system recovery program window should open (figure on the example of an ACER laptop).

Then we follow the instructions of the master. Just keep in mind that this wizard resets the settings to the factory settings and resets the system to the "from the factory" state. And in some laptops there is no way to save data on a "broken" system! Data may be lost! If you don’t have such important data on your laptop, you can safely start reinstalling.

You need to download a disk image from the Internet Windows 7. First you need to see which edition of windows 7 is installed on your laptop (in case you want to keep the license). You can look at the sticker on the laptop, the edition of windows 7 is indicated there, as well as the license key.

For example, if the sticker is windows pro, then you need to download the image windows disk 7 professional. If you don't care which edition, you can download any. The disk image usually has the following name: ru_ windows _7 _professional _with_sp1_x86_dvd_u_677084. iso.

After we have downloaded the image, we need to write it to a USB flash drive. The size of the flash drive we need is at least 4GB.

  • We insert the flash drive into the PC.
  • We launch the program for writing images to a USB flash drive, in our case we will use the UltraISO program. You can also download it on the Internet.

We start UltraiSO. We choose to open, then our image of Windows 7.

After we have selected the image, go to the boot menu, select burn the hard disk image

Click on the button - record and wait for the end of the recording.

After the flash drive with windows 7, insert it into the PC that you want to restore. Now we need to enable booting from a USB flash drive in the BIOS of your computer.

Del- Usually the Del key is the default key to enter the BIOS.
Esc- On a Toshiba laptop, after pressing it, it is usually suggested to press F1 to enter the BIOS
F1- mainly on LENOVO, IBM, HP, Dell, PB laptops.
F2- Acer, Asus, Samsung, RB;
F3- occasionally happens with Dell, Sony;
F8— iRu,
F10— Toshiba, Compaq
F12— Lenovo;
Ctrl+F2— Asus;
Ctrl+Alt+Esc- some Acer and others.

When entering the BIOS, set the settings according to the screenshots below

BIOS versions are different and the interface may differ, but by analogy, you can understand any.

If you have any questions, please write in the comments, I will be happy to answer.

This article describes how to install or reinstall Windows 7.

Before starting the installation, you need to complete a few preparatory steps. At the beginning of the article, we have placed detailed content so that you can quickly view the entire sequence of actions and go to the necessary part of the instruction.

If you are interested in a specific question (eg installation errors, how to enter and configure the BIOS, etc.), the links in the content will take you directly to it.

If you are a beginner, then just follow the guide from start to finish: each item is described in as much detail as possible and includes links to auxiliary instructions.

What should be ready before starting the installation

Review the list below to verify that your computer and system are ready to install or reinstall Windows 7, and follow the steps to complete the preparation.

What are the installation types, how to save personal files and programs

There are two types of installation:
  • A complete reinstallation of the operating system (OS), when the hard disk partition (or the entire disk) is completely erased, including all your programs, documents and files.
  • An OS update that updates only system files.
OS update has a number of disadvantages. Therefore, it is recommended to carry out a complete reinstallation of the system, and for this you will need to save all personal files and program settings.

If you haven't done so already, read the article on preparing for installation, from which you will learn:

  • how to save all important personal data;
  • what programs will be needed immediately after installation and where to download them;
  • is it possible to copy the installed drivers, where to find the drivers after installation;
  • analysis of some special cases;
Save all data and proceed to the next step.

How to legally download the original image of Windows 7 x64 or x32 for free.

Download original image you can legally with the help of the program "Windows ISO Downloader": the download of the Windows image file will be done with Microsoft official website.

Program file Windows ISO Downloader with version 5.21 (dated September 20, 2017) is attached to the article (to the right of this text).
How to download the image correctly is shown in the figure below:

Select the Windows 7 partition, then the desired edition Windows image 7 and the "Confirm" button.

Attention!
We strongly do not recommend use assemblies of Windows 7 - use only original system images.

Microsoft has several aircraft hangars of a variety of equipment designed to test the operation of the operating system on various combinations of devices. Therefore, the official OS image works correctly for the vast majority of users.

Build authors don't have that kind of testing capability, so a certain percentage of users will experience issues while running the build that can only be resolved with a full reinstall of Windows.

Which version of the image to choose: 32 bit or 64 bit

Everything is very simple: a 64-bit OS is needed in two cases: so that the computer can “see” 4GB or more random access memory and so that you can work with "heavy" programs or games. Attention!
Some new programs and games may not run on 32-bit Windows.
Conclusions:

  • If the amount of RAM is 4GB or more, feel free to choose x64 (64 bits).
  • If the computer is old and complex programs (for example, audio and video editors, systems for designing, multimedia packages) are not used, choose x32 (32 bits).
More information about the difference between 32 bit and 64 bit operating system is presented in this article.

The easiest way to see how much RAM you have is to right-click on the icon "My computer" → select item "Properties" in the context menu.

In the window that opens, the amount of RAM will be indicated, as well as the bit depth of the system currently installed.

Which version of Windows 7 should you choose: Home, Professional or Ultimate?

There are various versions (editions) of Windows 7, some of which differ greatly in functionality. More about Windows versions can be read.

Most often, when installing, choose between the versions of " professional " And " Ultimate ».
The best choice in terms of image version would be « Windows 7 professional » .
But don't worry if you have a different edition of Windows - the installation process will be the same.
In the editorial " professional " Unlike "Ultimate" there are no services that most users will never use.
You probably haven't even heard their names: DirectAccess, Unix Application Launcher, BranchCache, BitLocker, and so on. Accordingly, hard disk space version « professional » take less.

How to burn an image to a DVD disc or USB flash drive?

If you have already recorded the image and the installation from it went well, then you can immediately proceed to the next chapter. If you don't know what programs can be used to burn an image to a disk or flash drive, then the following auxiliary articles will help you: Please note that installation from a flash drive is more reliable and also faster. If you have a flash drive with a capacity of 4 GB or more, then it is better to install from it.

The process of reinstalling Windows.

So, the preparation for installation is completed: all personal data is saved, the media with the operating system distribution kit is created, and the partition on which the image will be installed is prepared.

Boot device priority setting in BIOS

  1. Restart your computer and enter BIOS.
    • on the personal computers most often buttons are used to enter the BIOS « DELETE» (« Del»), « F2", "Fone", "Esc»
    • on laptops - keys « F8", "Fnine", "F12", "Esc»
  2. After going into the BIOS, you need to find the menu section responsible for installing devices to boot the OS.
The section can be located in different places (depending on the type of motherboard and BIOS version), so you need to find the menu « FIRST BOOT DEVICE », « BOOT » or « BOOT DEVICE ».
  1. You need to go to this menu section and set the drive to the first place DVD or HDD(your Flash drive) depending on which media the image is on.
  2. After that, you need to exit the BIOS, saving the changes.
Most often, to save changes before exiting, you need to press the key « F 10" , and then confirm saving by pressing « Y » or by selecting « Yes » in the dialog box.
If you are having difficulty entering BIOS, saving changes, or finding boot device priority settings, then check out the article on setting options in the BIOS.

In the article you will find instructions with examples:

  • how to enter BIOS or UEFI with examples of different BIOS screens.
  • how to find option BOOT DEVICA PRIORITY.
  • table with a list of keys for entering the BIOS on laptops from different manufacturers.

Autorun installation of Windows from a DVD disc or flash drive

If you did everything correctly, then after restarting your computer you will see the following:

  • if you are using DVD media, you will see the inscription "Press any key for load from CD..." (press any key to boot from CD). You must immediately press any key, because after a short amount of time (about 10 seconds) the boot will start from the next boot device installed in the BIOS.
  • if you used a flash drive, the installation will start immediately
Remember!
When installing an operating system, you must be careful and careful about functions that you do not fully understand.
The site administration is not responsible for the result of your actions.

Installation start

Attention!
Your computer may have gray and blue USB connectors. If you are installing the OS from a USB flash drive, then be sure to plug the USB flash drive into the connector USB2.0 (grey), otherwise the installer may not see it.
You can judge that the operating system installer has started to work by the line that appears at the bottom of the screen.

Selecting the type of installation

  • A system update will allow you to reinstall Windows on top of your existing operating system.
  • A full installation will allow you to select an existing partition for installation or redistribute the hard drive. The system will be installed clean, so this option is more acceptable (we wrote more about installation types at the beginning of the article).

Figure 5. Selecting the type of installation of the operating system.
Choose "Full installation (advanced options)", as shown in figure 5.

Figure 6. Selecting a hard drive for further installation Windows 7.

Hard disk partitions for system installation

After moving to a full installation, we will be presented with a list hard drives, where you can create or select partitions for installation. At this step, there may be several options for the development of events.

  • You have only one hard drive in your system.
  • You have a separate hard drive (perhaps an SSD) where the operating system will be installed, and separate drives for data storage.
  • The installer does not see the hard drive, or other errors occur (below are links to articles that discuss these problems step by step)
Attention!
If you have more than one hard drive, then move all your important data to the drive where your personal files will be stored and turn it off so that you don't accidentally mix up the drives when creating partitions or formatting.
If you have only one hard drive (or SSD), then it is advisable to split it into parts (if the disk capacity allows it).

The disk must be divided into parts so that at least 50 GB is allocated for the system, possibly even more, because. for normal operation of Windows 7, it is desirable that the system partition has at least 15-20% free space.
The disk is partitioned to make it easier to reinstall the operating system in the future.

For example, you have only 1 hard drive in your computer with a capacity of 500GB.

You split it into 2 parts: 120GB (disk " C:") and 380GB (Disk " D)

Now on disk « D you store music, movies, photos, software installers, folders with drivers, games, etc., and on the disk « C you install programs for work.

Files from the "Desktop" and "My Documents" folders are also stored on the disk « C:». When in the future you want to reinstall Windows, you just need to transfer (copy) all important files from the desktop and other folders on the disk « C to disk « D, then perform a full reinstall with a disk format « C.
If the disk is not partitioned, then you will have nowhere to transfer data from the disk « C:», and you won't be able to format it.

Partitioning a Disk

At this step, you can create partitions on your hard drive if:

  • the hard disk is not partitioned (new or all partitions were previously deleted);
  • There are no important files on the hard disk, and all information can be deleted.
The new hard drive is immediately displayed as a single partition and is labeled as "unpartitioned" (see Figure 6).
If you are going to repartition the disk (and all important files have already been transferred from it), then you need to:
  1. Delete all partitions of your disk sequentially using the button "delete" . Attention! All files on these partitions will be deleted!
  2. Select the unallocated partition that appears with the mouse, click the button "Create" (See Figure 6).
  3. Specify the size first for the system partition (which will be the drive « C ), then create a partition for the drive « D (and other disks if necessary).
If the disk was not allocated, then the OS installer will additionally create a 100 MB partition to store special system files.

Selecting a partition for installation

If partitions on the disk have been created before:

  1. Select the system partition (on which the OS was previously installed).
  2. Click on the button "Format".
  3. After formatting, select the cleared partition and click on the button "Further".
If the installer does not see the hard drive, requires a device driver, or has other problems, then look for and fix your error with the help of these two articles:
  • Analysis of various types of errors when installing Windows 7 (including by codes).
  • What to do if the installer does not see the device (drive, hard disk, keyboard or mouse, etc.).
In Figure 6, you can see a 35 GB unpartitioned disk.

Figure 7. Creating a partition on a hard drive
In our case, no section has been created yet, so you need to click on the button "Create" (Figure 7), then specify the volume of the created partition (Figure 8) and click on the button "Apply" .

Figure 8. Selecting the volume for a hard disk partition

Figure 9. Confirmation window for creating a partition
After that, the operating system installer will inform you that an additional partition will be created to store system files:

Figure 10 Installing Windows 7
Click on the button "Further", after which the installation will begin (copying all system files and the OS setup process).

The process of copying files will take 15-30 minutes and will not require any action from you.

Figure 11. Installation completion window
When the files are copied and unpacked, the computer will restart.
