Where is the Medic in Call to Arms

The Medic is in many different squads. The picture below shows a rebel support team of 3 soldiers and a veteran rebel squad of 5 soldiers. Team icons highlighted in yellow show a medic symbol or a + symbol. This tells the player that there is a medic in that squad.

You can quickly determine which soldier is a medic by selecting the entire squad and looking at the squad silhouettes below the ops panel. In higher level squads, each team member has the option of medical treatment.

Soldiers who have lost too much health will be lying on the ground with a white diamond indicator with red blood, telling you that the soldier is mortally wounded and needs the help of a medic. The figure below shows such a soldier. This soldier will eventually die unless he gets the help of the Medic.

To start healing him, select your medic and right click on the wounded soldier, the medic will run towards the soldier and start the process which will be accompanied by an animation as shown below. If you click on the pic to enlarge it, you will see a small red health bar. This bar indicates the progress of the healing process, and once it is full, both Medic and Soldier will lie on the ground until further orders are given. Here you must quickly remove your medic from the danger zone and return the wounded soldier to the battle.

The game itself is very dynamic and worked out to the smallest detail. The movement and type of troops in the game is similar to Company of Heroes, but their type has been worked out even more. The crews of the vehicles can leave them in the event of an engine or running gear failure. At the same time, you can always return to them, or call a team of engineers to repair the breakdown, if possible. Infantry is not just meat, and has quite decent chances against enemy light vehicles, being able to neutralize the machine gunner or even destroy the entire crew, which will alternately replace the latter.
