You've probably noticed that from time to time we publish bonus codes for small amounts of gold in , after which we receive a huge number of private letters asking us to give or even sell more gold. Today we will lift the veil of secrecy and tell you where we get these codes from.

As some of you know, it is now passing The grand final of the Wargaming.net League and in order to whet the audience’s interest in this event, Wargaming periodically throws out QR codes containing encrypted links to bonus codes. They give very little, 50-100 gold each, but this is an extra gold coin that you can use at your own discretion, for example, you can buy camouflage for a tank or change the name of a crew member on the day of the promotion.

What is a QR code and where does WG publish them?

For those who do not know, let us explain: a QR code is a two-dimensional barcode in which certain information is encrypted, in this case a bonus code. How to decrypt the QR code?

There is nothing simpler. We take our phone (it doesn’t matter on Android or iOS), go to the application store (Play or AppStore) and type “QR Code Reader” or just “QR” (without quotes) into the search. Download any application you like. For example, I use QRReader.

It operates on the principle of a scanner - we launch it, bring it to the code on the monitor, scan it and the software gives us the contents of the code. This can be a short piece of text (a link or, in our case, a bonus code).
