Pushkin's "Queen of Spades", Lermontov's "Masquerade", Gogol's "Gamblers", "Two Hussars" and some chapters from L. Tolstoy's "War and Peace", Chekhov's stories "Screw" and "Wist", "Grand Slam" by L. Card games were divided into COMMERCIAL and GAMBLING. The first required not only a successful layout of cards, but also calculation, consideration, a kind of talent - almost like in chess.
