The hotel has a very homely, cozy atmosphere. It was as if they had come to visit relatives. We noticed this hotel on our last vacation in Malia, and this time we decided to stay here. Early in the morning we were already at the hotel, we were quickly checked in and immediately invited to breakfast (which was a pleasant surprise). The room is large and has everything you need. Cleanliness is up to par. But the air conditioning is paid (we didn’t use it, it was still cool in the evenings). Free Internet works good. The hotel does not have any territory as such, or rather it is all given over to the swimming pool. There is also a children's shallow pool and a small playground with slides and ladders. The food is good. The choice may not be that big, but everything is fresh and tasty. There was always meat, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and a small dessert. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach along the street past shops and cafes. In principle, the road is pleasant and we even enjoyed walking like this.

Creta Verano exceeded all our expectations! We spent a week here and had a lot of fun! We arrived at 9.00 am, and at the reception desk they immediately took our passports and also invited us to breakfast. By personal experience I know that hotels rarely offer meals before check-in, but here they did it without any questions and the room was provided immediately. Naturally, this is immediately captivating. Upon arrival, we noticed the fresh renovation, everything was new, everywhere was clean and cozy. The rooms are cleaned daily and done very well. By the way, I can also tell you a lot about food. Firstly, everything was delicious, and secondly, we liked the variety. Just so you understand, hot dishes were never repeated during the week. When the vacation came to an end and we were checking out, we were offered coffee (at 4 am!). Very caring! A few more words about the location. The beach is a 20-minute walk away, but this is not a minus, but rather a plus, since the hotel is located away from the party areas for young people (nightclubs and bars), so the holiday will be calm. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Go and don't worry!

GOOD HOTEL.
Today it’s been two weeks since we returned and I also decided to write, after reading the reviews of the people with whom we vacationed in this hotel. Well, let’s begin. The flight from Pegasus Tourist went without any delays in departure, with the traditional glass of water at 2 a.m. We arrived at 5 a.m. Here As always, everything was smooth with the transfer and at 7 am we were at the hotel door. It was nice that a hotel employee was waiting for us, who provided us with bracelets and escorted us to our room. At 7.15 we were already sitting on the balcony of the room waiting for breakfast. A small thing, but nice .Now about the hotel itself. The Russian language is difficult here, everything is in English. This is our fourth time in Crete and we weren’t going to expect miracles from a 3-star hotel. As for the food, I can say that everything is delicious, no frills, homemade. You won’t be hungry or dissatisfied You’ll stay. Believe me, there’s something to compare with. The hotel area is small, but there’s a little shanty nearby where Euro-youth go wild at night, not just disturbing, but actually preventing them from sleeping. But this is not the hotel’s problem, but the neighbors’ problem. In short, the hotel is not bad, BUT with some problems.1 .there is no trash can in the room, there is a basket with the toilet, but it is for hygienic purposes. 2. Wi-Fi is free and fast, but during the days of our stay it periodically went out of order for half a day or more. But if you sit at the bar you can connect to the Shalman’s Wi-Fi which is nearby, for some reason they didn’t disconnect it. 3. All inclusive in the bar. The first time we met this. During the day you can have beer, ouzo and brandy (of questionable quality, but simply cheap), and vodka and gin are allowed only from 21 to 23. And is this all included? We are people without pretensions, but this is too much, so we bought normal metax in the store and drank it on the balcony. At the end of the vacation, we decided to try what they pour from 21 to 23. We took gin tonic and didn’t even finish it. To taste, our canned gin and tonic is of the lowest quality for alconauts. In short, it’s not all-inclusive, it’s junk. 4. Paid air conditioning. In such a hot climate and 6 euros per day! The hotel is located so that there is no wind here and therefore the rooms are not ventilated. True, our craftsmen from Russia still turned it on without payment, as it’s a secret and I won’t reveal it... It’s noticeable that this year they have an influx of tourists from Russia and we have once again encountered Russian mmm how to say rednecks ...They pick up sausage, cheese, fruit and take it with them...And when they pour water from vending machines into their own bottles, it’s a total disgrace. A 9-liter package of water costs 2 euros, but for some it’s expensive...Russians are ashamed of you , that’s why they treat us so badly everywhere... The town of Malia is small and there’s nothing special to see there. There is a church, and behind it the old city, there is where to take a photo and so on... But if you leave the hotel and go left, then after 3 km there will be the Mali Palace, this is similar to the Palace of Knossos, but under a canopy and much cheaper. For impressions and the photo will do. By the way, on the way to this palace you will see banana plantations, which revealed to us the secret of why bananas are sold everywhere in Malia. They just grow there. We visited the city of Hersonissos, it turned out to be a city with a central street full of shops, a lot of SPAR stores with good prices for olive oil and olives. Yes, we came to Malia this year only to visit the monastery of Kera Kardiotissa. There is a really miraculous icon there, we were convinced of this by visiting there two years ago. This year we decided to get there ourselves by taking not an excursion, but taxi. Parking at the church. For 50 euros, we rushed there in a cool white Mercedes to the songs of a taxi driver along steep mountain roads, visited the monastery, lit candles and bought an icon of Kera home. While we were doing all this, the taxi driver was waiting for us. On the way back, we stopped at a knife factory and bought another awesome Cretan knife, we already bought it there two years ago and surprisingly it didn’t get dull in two years. it’s better to go to the cemetery and to the left, through the palm alley. Umbrellas and sun loungers are paid. 8 euros. but it’s like this everywhere. There is an island opposite the beach with a white church and many people swim there. We also swam there on our own. It’s 150 meters, but it’s worth it. that you did it ... But you only need to sail in calm .. Well, everything seems to be. I recommend the hotel, despite its jambs, you can’t find a better one for the money.

Group transfer is organized to/from the road (Silk gas station) due to the difficult access to the hotel for the bus.

Where guests can enjoy a long and wide sandy beach, a huge selection of water sports, gourmet cuisine in local restaurants, as well as a fairly vibrant nightlife.

Most of the fun in the city begins at dinner time and continues until 5 am, when the last customers usually go home. Quiet, idyllic spots in Malia can only be found by going to the Ancient City or the area of the old fishing harbor located near the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. On Trinity, the latter turns into a real center of church festivities, accompanied by music and dancing. Malia will reveal a lot of interesting things to the inquisitive eye. The resort is very popular among tourists. One of the factors thanks to which Malia has gained worldwide fame is its fairly developed infrastructure. Most of the hotels here are located directly on the beach, which is regarded by many as their definite advantage.

Creta Verano Hotel 3*: reviews

Guests respond mostly positively to their stay at the hotel.

The rooms are very clean; upon check-in, tourists note that the inside smells of bleach, which indicates good disinfection. According to reviews, the rooms have undergone cosmetic renovations. There is a balcony. In the bathroom, the shower is enclosed by only two glass partitions, the third is missing, so when taking a shower, water floods the floor of the entire bath, so you have to constantly wipe it. Vacationers consider a small bathroom to be one of the disadvantages of the equipment in the rooms, according to reviews (the shower is intended for people of miniature size). The rooms are cleaned regularly and guests are divided up. Towels and bedding are changed every other day. The floor is washed daily.

Vacationers call the hotel staff friendly. Although some guests note in their reviews the unfriendly attitude towards them from the staff, and even rudeness. Thus, hotel staff may not help carry heavy suitcases upon check-in, and guests will have to drag their things along confusing corridors on their own. You can also find trouble in the dining room. For vacationers, the cleaning lady can point to the door, urging them to finish their meal as quickly as possible, or prohibit them from entering the dining room twice, etc.

The hotel is located far from the beach - 2 km. But vacationers note that it is quiet and peaceful there. Potamos Beach is wide and sandy. There are areas with large stones on the shore, so you can easily enter the sea when there are no waves. Vacationers say the road to the beach is brightened up by watching the turkeys living on the local farm. According to reviews, the most convenient place to swim is at Sirena Beach; it is sandy and there are few stones there. The wide strip is sufficient for you to spread out your blanket or towel.

Vacationers call Malia a very interesting, colorful and colorful city. There is a supermarket nearby, as well as a bank. In general, Malia is a small town, here you can quickly get to any desired point.

Tourists rate the food at the hotel “4+”. The food here is quite tasty, the menu includes both Greek and international dishes. But the choice is small. There is fish every day. For dessert they serve grapes, melon or watermelon, nectarines, and cakes. Guests recommend wine or tea for children. The juices at the hotel are quite tasteless.

There are no children in the hotel, vacationers are divided. The contingent consists of young Poles and Russians.

The service is characterized mostly positively. But there are also disadvantages. Thus, staff may “forget” to wake up guests for an early excursion. An early breakfast can be cereal and ice-cold milk. Some vacationers note poor room cleaning in the absence of tips. Guests are sent to the store for water, which should be included in the price of their stay.

Conclusion

Despite these disadvantages, guests call Creta Verano 3* an excellent new hotel, which has an ideal balance between price and quality. Guests here enjoy the good food, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. Reviewers plan to return to this hotel and recommend it to others as an option that will not disappoint.
