The hotel has a very homely, cozy atmosphere. It was as if they had come to visit relatives. We noticed this hotel on our last vacation in Malia, and this time we decided to stay here. Early in the morning we were already at the hotel, we were quickly checked in and immediately invited to breakfast (which was a pleasant surprise). The room is large and has everything you need. Cleanliness is up to par. But the air conditioning is paid (we didn’t use it, it was still cool in the evenings). Free Internet works good. The hotel does not have any territory as such, or rather it is all given over to the swimming pool. There is also a children's shallow pool and a small playground with slides and ladders. The food is good. The choice may not be that big, but everything is fresh and tasty. There was always meat, fruits, vegetables, dairy products and a small dessert. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach along the street past shops and cafes. In principle, the road is pleasant and we even enjoyed walking like this.

Creta Verano exceeded all our expectations! We spent a week here and had a lot of fun! We arrived at 9.00 am, and at the reception desk they immediately took our passports and also invited us to breakfast. By personal experience I know that hotels rarely offer meals before check-in, but here they did it without any questions and the room was provided immediately. Naturally, this is immediately captivating. Upon arrival, we noticed the fresh renovation, everything was new, everywhere was clean and cozy. The rooms are cleaned daily and done very well. By the way, I can also tell you a lot about food. Firstly, everything was delicious, and secondly, we liked the variety. Just so you understand, hot dishes were never repeated during the week. When the vacation came to an end and we were checking out, we were offered coffee (at 4 am!). Very caring! A few more words about the location. The beach is a 20-minute walk away, but this is not a minus, but rather a plus, since the hotel is located away from the party areas for young people (nightclubs and bars), so the holiday will be calm. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Go and don't worry!

A small thing, but nice .Now about the hotel itself. The Russian language is difficult here, everything is in English. This is our fourth time in Crete and we weren’t going to expect miracles from a 3-star hotel. As for the food, I can say that everything is delicious, no frills, homemade. But if you leave the hotel and go left, then after 3 km there will be the Mali Palace, this is similar to the Palace of Knossos, but under a canopy and much cheaper. For impressions and the photo will do. By the way, on the way to this palace you will see banana plantations, which revealed to us the secret of why bananas are sold everywhere in Malia. They just grow there. We visited the city of Hersonissos, it turned out to be a city with a central street full of shops, a lot of SPAR stores with good prices for olive oil and olives. Yes, we came to Malia this year only to visit the monastery of Kera Kardiotissa. There is a really miraculous icon there, we were convinced of this by visiting there two years ago. This year we decided to get there ourselves by taking not an excursion, but taxi. Parking at the church. For 50 euros, we rushed there in a cool white Mercedes to the songs of a taxi driver along steep mountain roads, visited the monastery, lit candles and bought an icon of Kera home. While we were doing all this, the taxi driver was waiting for us. On the way back, we stopped at a knife factory and bought another awesome Cretan knife, we already bought it there two years ago and surprisingly it didn’t get dull in two years. it’s better to go to the cemetery and to the left, through the palm alley.
