Class strongholds in WoW Legion. Overview of class strongholds in the legion Where is the warlock stronghold located

You may have noticed that there is now some confusion in the forces of the Alliance and the Horde - disorder in the ranks of the leadership. In World of Warcraft: Legion, you will have to take responsibility and find a way to unite your people against the demons that threaten all life on Azeroth. To save the world from destruction, you will go to the Broken Isles. Here you have to team up with other representatives of your class (regardless of their faction) and oppose the Burning Legion.

Every class needs a home: a safe haven where heroes can find support, and a military meeting room where battle plans can be drawn up. In the Legion expansion, this home will become your stronghold - a stronghold unique to each class, where, together with you, the heroes of the world of Warcraft will try to repel the armies of the Burning Legion that have invaded the Broken Isles.

Who did not hesitate to seize a large part of the Cloaca of Dalaran and equip it for their needs. To maintain the secrecy inherent in this order, all passages to the residence are secret and are under the control of agents. The corridors leading to the Hold of Shadows can be reached from several shops in Dalaran if you show their owners or sellers the sign of the Uncrowned. In some cases, a simple code phrase will do; upon hearing it, the seller will activate a secret mechanism and open the door.

The passages are closely guarded by robbers who do not want anyone to interfere in their affairs. The Shadow Hold is home to many members of the order and sympathizers, among whom you can find criminals, murderers and scammers of all kinds. Even famous organizations like SIU or the Shattered Hand clan sent their representatives here. Despite the special contingent, order is maintained in the residence and battles between members of the order are not prohibited. However, the guards and pacifiers turn a blind eye to the murder of unwary adventurers who try to penetrate the Shadow Hold.

In the central part of the residence, a wooden tavern was built on a stage, where alcohol flows like a river and stories are told. There is a bookcase against one of the walls, which looks so out of place that many immediately understand that there is another secret passage behind it. If you turn the torch burning near this wall, the bookcase slides apart and allows you to enter the Chamber of Shadows, where meetings of the leaders of the Uncrowned take place. In addition to the Shadows themselves, sitting at the table with treats and drinks, there are attentive guards, bards entertaining the gentlemen, and an archivist. The walls are lined with tables littered with plans, drawings and mysterious instruments used to plan operations.

Another passage from the tavern leads to the Vault of the Uncorrupted, guarded by several hobgoblins. The floors here are literally littered with piles of gold coins, jewelry, artifacts and expensive works of art that were no doubt stolen or obtained by deception. Sitting on one of the piles of gold is Signe Gogelmogel, Baron of Gadgetzan, who joined the Uncrowned in search of additional profit. The vault also contains the Crucible of the Uncorrupted, which was created by craftsmen and allows robbers to enhance their weapons with exotic poisons.

Class strongholds in the Legion are unique areas for working with artifacts, completing quests, and communicating with people of the same class.

1. How to get to the Class Stronghold.

For the vast majority of classes in the game, access to the stronghold will be through portals scattered throughout Dalaran.
  • Druids, Mages, Death Knights and Monks - can move under their own power - Bulwark of the Guardian, Dreamwalker, Death's Door and Spiritual Journey
  • Demon hunters will first have to use Gliding to get to a small island near Dalaran, where they can find a portal. If your planning goes wrong, some gargoyle will pick you up and drag you away.
  • A special network of air routes is available for hunters. To go to Strelka's Shelter, you need to find Talua and talk to her.
  • Paladins will need to get to Light's Hope Chapel, or use the teleporter in the faction quarter.
  • Priests have access only to the portal in the faction quarter.
  • Robbers know better than anyone where a crooked path can lead them. Therefore, they need to go to “Magnificent Goods” (52 69), “Tanks are our everything” (45 29) or “A hundred more times” (53 33). In these establishments you should look for hidden doors.
  • The shaman portal is located on the Kras site.
  • Warlocks should look for the portal on the road to Cloaca.
  • Warriors in each location should look for Valkyra, near whom they can use the Jump to the Sky Citadel ability to be transported to the Stronghold.

2. Is there any profit from Strongholds?

Each Stronghold gives its class certain game advantages:
  • Robbers will be able to visit a representative of the Black Market and find the Suspicious Box toy
  • Demon Hunters and Warlocks can add a new pet to their collection - the Hateful Eye
  • Warriors are allowed to fight each other in a special arena and receive the Stormforged Vrykul Horn toy for victory.
  • Druids get the ability to quickly get to some blooming locations. The Grove of Dreams is home to two pets - Nightmare Lasher and Forester.
  • Shamans in their Stronghold play a totem version of the game “Light’s out”. The winner will be rewarded with a Lava Fountain toy. If you search, you can find a new pet - Snowfang.

3. What to do in Oplot?

The stronghold is used as a base for improvements, leveling up and completing quests:
  • Completing class stronghold missions. These missions can be completed significantly less often than the Garrison missions on Draenor. But the rewards are definitely worth completing. For the mission Reconnaissance in the Dark Heart Thicket you can receive the quest item Vial of Poisonous Blood, which transports the character to the dungeon. Here you can also get Champions and Squads to complete missions in the Stronghold.
  • Visit the quartermaster to purchase a set of Bulwark armor, weapons to transmog armor upgrades, and some shape-changing items.
  • Here you can also communicate with other class representatives of both factions.
  • Working with an Artifact: you can increase your strength and learn talents anywhere, but you can only change the appearance of an Artifact in a stronghold.
  • You can reset Artifact talent points only in the Stronghold.
  • Start research with a mob to increase Artifact Knowledge.
  • After completing a Mythic+ Keystone dungeon within the allotted time, you will be able to find a reward in your chest in the Stronghold next week.
  • And, of course, you have to complete unique class quests to learn more about your character's lore.

4. Armor sets in the Stronghold

Each class can earn an eight-piece Bulwark armor set. These sets are similar to the collections that can be obtained through Challenge Mode in Mists of Pandaria, but of course with some differences.
Different parts of the body kit are obtained in different ways:
  • The helmet is obtained by completing a simple Stronghold quest at level 110.
  • To receive the bib, you need to complete the Stronghold campaign.
  • Leggings can be obtained by defeating the final bosses in eight Legion dungeons.
  • Shoulders are awarded for Exalted by the Darkened.
  • To get the belt, you must earn 100,000 Artifact Power.
  • Boots are only given to players revered by any two factions of the Broken Isles.
  • Gloves - for Respect for the Darkened.
  • To obtain wrists, you need to hire six Champions in the Stronghold.
Each item from the collection can be upgraded to item level 840:
  • Up to 820 – Small armor plates for 500 Class Stronghold Resources.
  • From 820 to 830 for Armor Plates for 2000 Class Stronghold Resources.
  • From 830 to 840 – you will have to fork out for Large armor plates for 4000 Class Stronghold Resources.

5. How to upgrade the Stronghold?

The resources of the Stronghold class are also used to upgrade the Stronghold Talent Tree, which consists of five Tiers. In the first four you always choose between two talents, and in the last - only one talent, but what a talent!

The first tier requires level 100, 50 resources, 2 hours of research and allows you to choose between increasing the chance of completing the first Stronghold mission of the day and increasing the chance that the reward for the task will be improved.
- The second tier is also interesting - you need level 105, 500 resources, 4 hours of research, and it can help reveal the hidden appearance of the Artifact. You can choose between a special class talent and increasing the chance of completing a mission.
- For the third tier you need level 110, 1000 resources, 7 days of research. You can choose between the number of units to hire and the ability to place orders for equipment for Champions.
- The fourth tier requires level 110, 10,000 resources, 10 days of research, and provides talents that strengthen units.
- The fifth tier requires level 110, 12500 resources, 12 days of research. But you will receive one Seal of Broken Fate, two talents that can be spent on instantly completing a Quest on the World Map, a reinforced assistant, or additional resources when completing World Quests with Champions.
- Tier six – level 110, 15,000 resources, 14 days of research. But the reward is worth it - you will be able to equip two legendary items at the same time. And this tier must be obtained to open the third relic slot in the Artifact.

Also, for an additional fee, you can change the selected Talent.

Overall, the picture turns out to be very tempting and very confusing: do you want more gaming goodies? This means you have a direct route to Oplot!

Companions not only help complete missions, but also reveal some history in the fight against the Legion. So, you can meet key lore personalities, for example, Rehgar for shamans or Manastorm for magicians. The main goal of companions (champions) is to help in various missions of the class stronghold, which provide experience, artifact power, gold, and sometimes gear. A certain number of missions are also required to complete a class campaign or obtain a mount, such as a fox. Each class has access to eight followers in the Legion stronghold, but only five champions can be active. The rest will be marked “awaiting instructions.” You can activate an ally at any time, but it will cost 250 gold. Leveling up companions in the Legion: common, rare, epic The starting level of a champion is determined in which company (chapter) of the stronghold it was received, but the starting quality will always be normal. That is, the quality does not depend on the hero’s level: 100, 13, 19 or 110. The maximum level is 110. To improve the quality of a follower, you need to complete missions. Experience chart for followers regardless of class:

XP required:

Epic

When a champion has reached the maximum level and quality, no experience is awarded to him.

Legion Companion Item Levels

Once a follower has reached level 110, he receives item level 760, which can be upgraded to complete more difficult tasks. The maximum item level is 850. Increasing the quality of equipment requires the following improvements:

  • Heavy armor set: +5 position level
  • Reinforced armor set: +10 position level
  • Impenetrable armor set: +15 position level

This means that items will always be multiples of the number, and followers cannot have, for example, 799 ilvl. You can obtain elements in two ways: from various stronghold missions, using the third level of stronghold improvement. As for the second method, it can be obtained by Druids, Monks and Shamans. Other classes simply place orders to complete champion weapons. Each order takes 12 hours and costs 50 units of resources. Guide to companions in a class stronghold: low level and combat Sometimes, for a 100% win rate in missions, you can add low-level companions, but if you send all low-level champions on a mission, the chances of winning will be much lower . It is also worth considering that such associates do not receive full experience. If the difference is too great, then it will simply become useless: it does not contribute to success.

Equipment of comrades in the Legion

When champions reach level 110 or another quality, they unlock equipment slots that can be used as upgrades. The first slot is unlocked when the follower reaches Rare quality, the second - Epic. You can get equipment:

  • Class Stronghold Missions
  • Local quests
  • Third level of the stronghold
  • Emissary
  • Treasures, chests

Companions in the Legion by class: list, where to get them?

Below you can view a list showing all the Legion’s comrades by class and what abilities they have. We've created helpful notes for some champions.

Companions of the Hunter (Hunt) Legion:

Peculiarity:

Rogue's Companions (Rogi) Legion:

Peculiarity

Class Halls in Legion are separate zones for each class, where players can improve their artifact and develop the Stronghold itself by completing tasks associated with it.

How to get into a class stronghold

Most classes can get to their stronghold through portals located in different parts of Dalaran. Moreover, for each class there is a separate portal, which cannot be used by characters of another class:

Where are the portals located:

  • For priests and paladins: in the Alliance / Horde hall;
  • For shamans: on the airfield;
  • The Demon Hunters use Slide to reach one of the islands near Dalaran;
  • Rogues can enter their stronghold through secret passages that exist in some buildings in Dalaran;
  • Warlocks: portal near Cloaca;
  • Hunters: through a special griffin flight network;
  • Death knights, druids, monks and magicians can create portals themselves.

Strongholds of each class

  • Bandits - Hall of Shadows
  • Paladins - Sanctuary of Light
  • Warlocks - Dreadscar Rift
  • Warriors - Sky Fortress
  • Death Knights - Acherus
  • Demon Hunters - Corrupted Hammer
  • Druids - Grove of Dreams
  • Hunters - Sure Shot Guardhouse
  • Magi - Hall of Defenders
  • Monks - Temple of Five Dawns
  • Shamans - Maelstrom
  • Priests - Temple of Light

Each class stronghold will have some unique features.

For example:

  • Rogues have an additional NPC to access the Black Market Auction.
  • Druids in the stronghold have portals to the main natural locations.
  • Warriors can duel in a special arena.

What to do in a class stronghold

List of things to do in the Legion:

  1. Change the appearance of an artifact. You can add Artifact Power and select talents anywhere in the game world, but you can only change your appearance in a class stronghold.
  2. Change the choice of artifact talents.
  3. Turn in books that are needed to increase the knowledge points of the artifact.
  4. Complete stronghold missions. There are far fewer missions than there were in the garrison of Draenor.
  5. Turn in assignments related to your class and learn about history.
  6. Buy sets of class stronghold armor from the quartermaster (about them below), weapons for transmogrification, tokens for upgrading equipment and books that allow you to study additional cosmetic effects.
  7. Receive a reward for completing a raid on Mythic difficulty.
  8. Chat with other players of your class - both factions!

Class Hall Armor Sets

Each class has unique 8-piece armor sets that can only be purchased at the class stronghold. These sets are similar in appearance to the sets for completing the Mists of Pandaria challenge mode, but there are slight changes.

Each part of the kit is obtained in a different way:

  • Helmet - for a quest in a class stronghold
  • Bracers - for recruiting 6 followers for a class hall
  • Gloves - required Respect with the Nightfallen faction
  • Pants - Requires Revered with three Broken Isles factions
  • Feet - you need to kill the last boss in all Legion dungeons
  • Breast - for completing a campaign in a class stronghold
  • Belt - Earn 50,000 Artifact Power points
  • Shoulders - Exalted with Nightfallen faction

At the same time, different parts of the set have different levels of items. To increase the level of an item, you need to buy a token, which has certain requirements:

  • Upgrade to level 810 - Respect with Nightfallen;
  • Upgrade to level 825 - required to kill the last boss in all Legion dungeons (on any difficulty);
  • Upgrade to level 840 - Exalted with Nightfallen.

Additionally

The content in the Legion class hall is such that it encourages players to leave the hall more often in the game world (unlike the garrisons of Draenor).

Class Quests

As you level up your character in the stronghold, class quests open up. They recount important events and shed light on the history and fate of the class in the Legion.

Missions in the class stronghold

Missions appear less frequently in a stronghold than they did in garrisons. In addition, new missions encourage players to venture out of the stronghold and into the game world.

For example, the reward for completing a mission in a dungeon is not an item, but a quest item. To receive a reward for it, you need to go to the dungeon yourself and complete the quest.

Other

There is something like a “technological development tree” for a class stronghold: in order to improve and upgrade the stronghold, you need to spend . This will give certain improvements to the character and allies, and will also open up additional opportunities for customizing the artifact.

I would like to hear your opinion about class strongholds in the Legion? How are they better or worse than the garrisons of Draenor?
