How windows 10 is installed. Ways to activate the system after installation

2018-06-01 | Published under: Windows 10 no comments

Hello dear user! In this article, you will learn. Updates scare everyone, but are they as difficult and harmful as they are said to be?! Let's get to grips with Windows 10 - you may have realized recently that you want to install a new operating system!

Why install Windows 10:

Any update improves the system,
Smart people worked on the new Windows - they know exactly what they are doing,
New hardware, third-party software, drivers, programs are optimized for the latest build of Windows.
You will receive many innovations, perhaps the day will come when you will need them.

How to do this - let's take a closer look at how to install Windows 10 if:

You already have Windows XP, VISTA, maybe even Windows 7,
You have a new PC or laptop without an operating system,
Nothing works for you, but there was once an operating system until you went to “that” site.
You don't understand at all why you need to install Windows because you have MAC OS.

So let's get started!

You already have Windows XP, VISTA or Windows 7, 8 installed.

If you have Windows XP or VISTA installed, then, unfortunately, you will not be able to upgrade to Windows 10 with saving and transferring data, how to do this on Windows 7 or 8, we will consider later.
After all, you have XP or Vista - save your photos and everything else to a USB flash drive or external HD and go here. Check your PC or laptop with the minimum system requirements for installing Windows 10 and draw your conclusions. If your PC is not so old, then read below.

Installing using the Windows 10 installation disc:

If you purchased a CD with a copy of Windows 10, then you need to:

1) Reboot the PC or laptop, if the BIOS login window does not appear, most likely you have “fast boot”, you need to disable it through the Control Panel / power options / power button action / change settings that are currently unavailable / enable fast startup (uncheck) .

2) To enter the BIOS or UEFI of the motherboard by pressing the Delete button on the keyboard, in order not to miss the BIOS entry window, it is recommended to repeatedly press the button immediately after restarting the PC or laptop. If you have a laptop, then there may be problems. The fact is that on laptops from different manufacturers, the login conditions may differ, even for one manufacturer on different models, the login parameters often differ. Do not be afraid, see the list below and look for your brand.

ASUS-F1, DEL
DELL - F1, F2, F3, Fn+F1
Lenovo - F2, F12, Del
HP - F1, F2, F10
Sony - F2, F3
Acer - F1, F2, Del
Samsung - F1, F2, F8, F12, Del
Toshiba - Esc, F1

3) Change the system boot options, set boot priority from CD or DVD-ROM, if you have an old PC or laptop, then it looks like this:

You need to enter the First Boot Device tab, it can be called Boot or Boot Device and set the boot from CDROM or DVDROM, depending on which drive is on your PC, usually DVDROM.
If you have a more or less new PC and its motherboard contains UEFI, then it looks like this:

Different manufacturers create different UEFI interface, in this case we see Gigabyte's variant, don't be scared, despite different graphics, just find the "Boot Options" directory and set boot from CD (DVD) ROM by default. Next, save the settings, insert the disk into the drive, press F10 (Save and Exit) or go to the Exit tab and exit with saving the settings.
If everything worked out, the PC or laptop will start downloading from DVD ROM, an inscription will appear on a black screen “ Press any key to boot from CD or DVD”, press the Enter or F8 key, then you just need to follow the Windows 10 installation guide.

4) Install windows 10, following the installation guide, format the hard drive and, if desired, partition it into sections.

So, you are left with the last stage, what does it look like? If you did everything right, the Windows 10 installer will start working, you will see a window like this. Select the Russian language, input method and click the next button.

Then in the next window, click INSTALL:

If you don't have a key or want to enter it later, you can purchase it on the Microsoft website, then press skip. In the next window, check the box with the mouse and accept the license terms, click next.
In the next window, we read two tabs and remember that your OS does not support upgrading to Windows 10, select the item “Custom: only install Windows”.

So we come to the main one, after choosing the type of installation, a window will open for formatting hard drives and choosing the installation location for Windows 10.

In our case, it is necessary to format the “main” partition on which XP or Vista was installed. If desired, if the hard drive is divided into 2 or more partitions, you can remove them and leave one partition on which the new Windows OS will be installed. It is recommended to create or leave all partitions except the main one, provided that the hard disk capacity exceeds 320 GB. After editing the hard disk partitions, you must click next, after which the Windows installation process will begin.

5) After unpacking and installing the files and restarting the PC, it is advisable to select the “use standard settings” option of the OS settings. After that, exciting days of operating Windows 10 await you. If your computer has not switched to booting from the hard drive, you need to enter the BIOS again and return the boot priority from the HDD or SSD, hard drive, reboot and use Windows 10.

Installing Windows 10 using a flash drive:

Consider another situation, you want to install Windows 10, you do not have a disk, and you are not going to buy it. There is another way, take out your flash drive and read below.
So, you will need a flash drive and an active computer, in our case we will consider the option of a working OS XP or VISTA.

Insert a USB flash drive into a PC or laptop connector and go here. This link is to the official Microsoft website. Here it is worth remembering Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, download the OS update tool to Windows 10, and you can update the system while saving settings and files, unless of course you already have Windows 7 or 8, you also need to take into account that the free update is no longer valid, so you may need a license key.
Let's return to our situation in order to download the finished image* of Windows 10 from the developer's site or another site. come in here and click download tool now.

Greetings to all my dear readers. I think it's time to open a separate section on Windows 10 - everything has changed quite a lot and tons of instructions on topics of interest are already in the top ten don't roll. The same applies to the question, but how to install Windows 10 and what's new in terms of installation?

I want to write right away - everything has become much easier. If earlier it was rather difficult for an ordinary user to find the original distribution kit without any changes by local kulibins, now there is a utility from Microsoft that will download the system image for you, and if you ask well, it will write it to a USB flash drive right away. If during the release of the Rufus program it seemed - well, where is it easier? I downloaded the isoshnik and upload it to a USB drive, now this option is more labor-intensive - there is an official way to merge the most up-to-date distribution kit from Microsoft servers.

How to install Windows 10? - easier than any other distribution

As I scribbled above - in the top ten it's all very simple, any user who is able to control the mouse can handle it. The installation can be divided into two simple steps - this is the preparation of the distribution kit and the installation itself.

Download Windows 10 image from the official site

So, now let's look at everything in order. To create an installation distribution, we need a utility from Microsoft called the Media Creation Tool. She has very few features, but she is perfect for us. You can always download it on the official website (oh, I remember how much time it took to find a normal distribution kit, and not everyone can still write it to a USB flash drive)

Go to download site Media Creation Tool

At the very bottom of the page, direct links to download the tool will be available. This pleasure weighs about 17 megabytes (at the time of this writing, of course). We look at what operating system we have and select the desired bit depth - I want to note that this is the bit depth of the distribution tool, and not the final OS that we will install.

Downloaded and launched. In general, this utility allows you not only to create an installation package, but also to upgrade an existing system to Windows 10, however, after the upgrade, in my practice there have always been various problems, so I recommend an exceptionally clean installation of the system - everything turned out fine there, it has been working stably since the release . To create an image, select the item "Create installation media for another computer"

In the next window, select the language of the target operating system, edition and bit depth (Is someone going to put x86 top ten?)

On the "Select media" page, you need to decide what you need? I recommend that you burn directly to a USB flash drive (at least 4 gigs for the x64 bit Pro version of dozens), but since I will be installing on a virtual machine, I will choose an ISO file, which can then also be written to a disk or USB flash drive. I want to add - every time you create a flash drive directly, the image will be downloaded from the network every time ...

We are waiting for it to load - it depends on the speed of your Internet connection ... just figure out how long it takes you to download a 3 gig movie and roughly orient yourself. Plus time to write to the flash drive itself.

We will assume that we have created the media for installing Windows - now we need to proceed to the most interesting part, the installation of the system itself. In general, if you installed Windows 7/8, then you will not see anything new here (and you can close this article and proceed with the installation)... there is nothing fundamentally new here, even the interface has not changed.

Installing Windows 10 on a PC or laptop

We put the download from our distribution, and get to the start screen with the choice of language, time format and keyboard layout. Since I am from Russia, then the choice is appropriate (and you yourself remember which distribution kit you downloaded - not Jewish)

The next window with a very difficult choice - there is only one button "Install" (well, or restore - we have nothing yet, we only carry out the first installation)

So, now a very important point is the product key. If you have it, then everything is simple, enter it and click next. If not, then skip this item ... click the "Skip" button

We read the license agreement - there is a lot of controversy at the moment, on this topic a note about how Windows is spying on us will be published in the very near future. (by the way, the license agreement sometimes does not always load correctly, there may be errors, just try again if this happens and everything will work)

Here again, you need to select the installation option - update what is already there (we don’t need to transfer glitches from the old to the new one) or click on custom installation - this is a clean installation where you can format your hard drive, set partition sizes and much more, so we go there.

I have created a new installation partition and will install to it. You yourself can be the boss here - the benefit is simple. Just keep in mind that with careless and senseless actions, you can ruin all the data on your computer without the possibility of recovering it.

Since we did not enter the product key during installation, we are again offered to do this ... (here I’ll make a small digression. If you don’t have money, that is, there is an activator, he calls it “KMSAuto NET” - the current version at the time of writing was v1.3.8 ... I can’t post it here for obvious reasons, but google it with a bang - so choose yourself, but I certainly recommend buying this OS from Microsoft.)

Next, select "Use standard settings" - we are almost there, the system is almost installed on our computer.

Next, you need to wait until the system downloads the latest updates and installs all the applications it needs (this installation item can take quite a long time)

The next step is to determine where the computer is located. Since we do not use the Domain, and you probably do too, we say that “I own this computer” ... (sounds proud)

NEXT. Here we are offered to create a Microsoft account. It’s up to you to start it or not, but since the network is full of indignation about collecting our personal data, I advise you to create a local account and not get involved in Microsoft services (although, on the other hand, why do we install Windows 10 if we turn off all the chips)

Enter the name of the new account and password (by the way, a hint is required so that you can remember later if you forget ...)

That's all, after creating a local account, you will be taken to the Windows 10 desktop ...

P.S. How to install Windows 10? The most detailed instruction was read by you and, I hope, learned - after all, there is nothing complicated here. Speaking of impressions from dozens, then everything seems to be fine here, there is no desire to return back. Everything works, everything starts, there are no compatibility problems and nothing lags ... all the best to you!

Do you want to install Windows 10 so that your LAPTOP or COMP works as fast as "from the store"?

If you want to learn how to clean install Windows 10, then read on and you will learn how to do it right.

Any computer or laptop, over time, begins to slow down and fail.

It's unavoidable!

Therefore, it is customary to reinstall Windows clean from time to time.

A clean installation of Windows is such an installation when a computer or laptop is freed from all the garbage and errors, brakes and glitches that have accumulated over the entire time of its operation.

After the video in which we upgraded Windows 7 and Windows 8 to Windows 10, many people who did not succeed in this upgrade for one reason or another asked:

How else can you go to the Ten?

What we are going to do now, namely a clean installation of Windows 10, is the only possible way to upgrade to Windows 10. If it was not possible to upgrade the previous version to Windows 10.

So, we have considered all the preparatory moments.

Now let's move on to the actual clean installation of Windows 10.

So I'll open Explorer, open Computer.

As you can see, I have two sections here. My hard drive is divided into 2 parts.

I saved all my data to a partition called: My Files.

A clean install of Windows involves formatting (deleting) a partition called Local Disk (C:).

We will completely remove it during the installation process and install a fresh Windows 10 system here.

In order not to accidentally delete the My Files partition instead of the Local Disk (C:) during the installation process, I recommend doing the following:

You need to remember the labels of the disks. The letters (C:), (D:), (E:), (F:), etc., will not help us in this case.

The fact is that when installing Windows, these letters are not visible. They are visible only in the operating system.

Partition sizes will help us. For example, the My Files section has a size of 5.99 GB, that is, about 6 GB.

And the size of the Local Disk (C:) partition is approximately 25 GB.

You need to remember what the partition is called, that is, the label of the disk. On the section we need, this is the label: My Files.

But on the Local Disk (C :) section, there will be no label at all.

And also remember the size of these partitions. I recommend that you write down this information on a piece of paper.

If you do not have a label on the second section, then you can add it very simply.

Hover the mouse over the section itself, press the right key and select the item: Rename.

The name stands out, I'll rename it this way: These are My Files. I added one word at the beginning.

Now I just press the Enter key. That's it, the section has been renamed.

Now I'm fully prepared to do a clean install of Windows.

I'm starting to install Windows, for this I just do Shut down.

Now, when the computer (laptop) is turned off, I just plug it into the USB port of the laptop.

I press the F2 key. I just press and hold it. At the same time I turn on the laptop with the power button.

Ready! We entered the BIOS. How to enter the BIOS is dedicated to me. Several examples are detailed there. In addition, you will find out which key you need to press to enter the BIOS.

Let's see how to boot on this laptop from a USB flash drive.

I just navigate with the cursor keys to the tab: Boot.

Here I need a section: Boot Option Priorities. In this BIOS, in order to change the boot priority, you just need to press the Enter key, on the item which is called: Boot Option #1.

I press enter. And here I need to find the item with the designation USB. This item is: UEFI: USB FLASH DRIVE PMAP.

This item is what I need, I just press the Enter key. Now I have it in the line: Boot Option #1.

To complete the setup for booting from a flash drive, I need to save the settings. I press the key: F10, and I press the key: Enter.

Now the computer boots from the flash drive.

By the way, you can use genuine keys from Microsoft for Windows and Office.

I like to activate after installation, so I click on the button: I don't have a product key.

That is, if you want to continue the installation, without entering the key in this window, just click on the link - the button, as I showed it in the picture.

I press.

Before us appeared a list of operating systems that we can install.

Here we can install Windows 10 Home. Home for one language. Windows 10 for Education, which in English sounds like Education. And Windows 10 Pro Professional.

The x86 icon indicates bit depth here. x86 stands for 32-bit system.

And here we see the release date of the version of the operating system.

I will choose the Windows 10 Pro option. To do this, I go down to the very bottom using the keyboard and click on the button: Next.

In the next window, we definitely need to accept the license terms. Just check the box next to the words "I accept the terms of the license" and click on the button: Next.

Be careful in the next window!

The first big button is the operating system update. But we are doing a clean install of Windows today. We delete all old data from the computer, all old system data except for our files.

Therefore, we select the 2nd item, the second large button: Custom: install Windows only (for advanced users)

I take out my cheat sheet. At the beginning of the video, I told you that here we will not see the drive letter. We will only see the size of the partitions. It is listed here in the 3rd column.

As well as disc labels. The first section has no label. And the second section has a label: This is My Files.

As you remember, I changed the label before the installation itself.

And we save this section, we cannot delete this section. This is where my saved files are stored.

But we will delete the first section. I just select it and click on the button: Delete.

We are warned that this may contain important data. I am sure of my actions I press the button: OK.

We wait a bit until the installer removes the partition.

Done, Windows Installer removed the partition. And now we have instead of a partition: Unallocated space on disk 0.

This is where we will do a clean install of Windows 10.

Just in case, just click again to select this unallocated space, and click on the button: Next.

And now the actual installation of Windows has already begun.

So, the main part of the installation is completed.

Now you need to go to the settings. Windows suggests starting with a region. I leave Russia, you can choose any other country if you live in another country.

I press the button again: Yes.

We are offered to add a second layout, but we will not do it now. We are installing Windows. And we can add a second layout at any time.

Click: Skip.

Windows promises us to install important items.

In the next window, we are offered a choice of configuration method. Most of the users who watch this video are probably setting up Windows for themselves.

Therefore, I choose the first option, and click on the button: Next.

My computer is connected to the internet with a cable. Therefore, I am immediately prompted to sign in using a Microsoft account.

If your computer is not connected to the Internet, or is connected to the Internet using Wi-Fi, then at this stage you will be prompted to connect to the Internet. For example, enter the password for your Wi-Fi network.

You will either need to click on the button: Connect, and enter the password for your Wi-Fi.

Or click on the button: Skip.

So, let's continue on a computer that is connected to the Internet.

If you have a Microsoft account and you immediately want to log in with it to this computer, then enter your email here, which is the Login. Click the button: Next. After that, enter the password.

And you'll be signed in right away with a Microsoft account.

If there is no Microsoft account, we are prompted to create it right there.

But it's not very convenient, I think. If you don't have a Microsoft account and want to create one, then I have a separate video dedicated to this. Here it is, look.

If you do not have a Microsoft account, or if you do not want to log in with one now, then just click on the button: Offline account.

Windows insists that we sign in with a Microsoft account. He likes it that way.

But we have already decided with you, to log in with a local account. Therefore, we press the button: No.

Now we are prompted to enter the Computer Username. I enter my name.

If you want to enter the computer with a password, you can immediately come up with it and enter it in the appropriate field.

Just be sure to write down the Password so as not to lose access to the computer.

If you do not want to use a password yet, but want to do the configuration without a password for now, then leave the field blank and click on the button: Next.

In the next window, we are prompted to select the privacy settings for this device.

There has already been a lot of noise on the Internet that the new April 2018 version of Windows contains many more of these options.

That is, she is even more trying to follow us.

Therefore, it is now quite fashionable to turn off all these engines. Let me do that. I turn off all the engines, that is, we simply translate all the engines to the left position.

In principle, all this can be done already on the installed Windows.

But since we can do all this during the installation process, let's turn off all these options.

Done, now click on the button: Accept.

Windows tells us that preparation is in progress, and promises that it may take several minutes.

We just have to wait...

Almost done!

We have successfully installed Windows. Let's check what version it is. Open File Explorer and right-click on This PC. Select Properties.

As you can see, this is Windows 10 Pro 32-bit. That is, everything is exactly as we installed it.

Windows system is not activated. As I said: I have a separate lesson devoted to activation.

Now let's check if my files that I saved are in order.

I open This PC and we see that here we have a local drive C, on which we just installed Windows 10, the latest version. And also in place I have my section called This is My Files.

If you open it, we will see that everything is in order here, the files are in place.

The entire installation process is detailed in the video.

Click on the video and watch.

Well, you have seen that a clean installation of Windows is quite simple and fast.

If you do everything right.

Now you can do it yourself, without the invitation of would-be computer masters, from the newspaper ads.

And do it when you need it. Since this procedure will no longer cost you a penny of money.

  • Windows 10 activation key.
  • How to download

To begin with, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an entry-level Asus R540SA laptop, which comes and is naturally sold in our stores without any operating system. I decided to install Windows 10 Pro on it, pursuing 3 goals: to find out the installation process itself (I haven’t done this for a very long time), to check the possibility of activating Windows 10 with a key from Windows 8 (fortunately, I had one key unclaimed for 3 years), and also see how the system behaves on fairly average laptop hardware. About everything in order.

A little about the laptop Asus R540SA

Despite its budget price, the laptop looks quite stylish. The dark chocolate lid made of durable plastic and the light brown body look very good together. I was struck by the lightness of the laptop, only 1.9 kg, as well as the case thickness of 25.4 mm, which is very unusual for budget laptops. Therefore, it is very light and easy to carry. It would seem that what can be expected from a laptop for 6,000 hryvnias? But it is equipped with all the connectors you need to work. Here they are all located on the left side of the case: a 3.5 mm headphone jack, one USB 2.0, 3.0 port each, and also a new USB Type-C connector, which is quite rare on laptops in this price segment. Nearby are HDMI, VGA and LAN RJ-45 connectors, that is, you can connect to the Internet not only via a wireless interface, since the laptop is equipped with a Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n module, but also use a wired one, which I'm sure will please many, because manufacturers recently for some reason in budget laptops prefer to get rid of this connector.

Also ASUS R540SA Bluetooth 4.0 module that allows you to transfer data between devices at speeds up to 1 Mbps.

Particularly noteworthy is the island-style keyboard, which allows you to quickly and easily type text without the risk of making mistakes when pressing the keys, and a rather sensitive touchpad with an increased area that supports some of the gestures. Of course, you should not expect that the most modern stuffing will be inserted into such a laptop.

The 15.6-inch ASUS R540SA has a resolution of 1366×768, which is standard for an inexpensive laptop, and a glossy surface, although it does not glare very much in the sun, which makes it comfortable to work with.

It is worth noting that the developers from ASUS managed to implement a whole range of software and hardware tools designed to improve the sound quality even in such an entry-level laptop. It is a pleasure to watch movies, series, music videos and listen to music on it. He will definitely earn his money in this regard. But with the camera for video calls, everything is sad with them: it is only 0.3 megapixels of resolution in our time!!! For me, such a camera is no longer very pleasant and convenient.

It's even worse with performance and memory. I understand that for such a price, it's still divine, but still. The laptop is powered by a 2-core Intel Celeron processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz (2.16 GHz in Turbo Boost mode), 2 GB of RAM and integrated graphics core Intel HD Graphics. The processor is built on a modern 14-nm process technology, thanks to which it does not heat up and has low power consumption. Okay, a mid-range processor, but in 2016, 2 GB of RAM is very little. I'm thinking of adding memory, if the module is not soldered to the motherboard. It is worth mentioning that it supports DDR3L 1.35V low voltage mode instead of 1.5V which is normally in DDR3 format.

The laptop has a non-removable lithium-ion battery, which will allow you to work up to 4 hours according to the manufacturer. I can say from personal experience that up to 3 hours it works no more.

As you can see, I have a very average laptop and still without any operating system, the installation of which I want to tell you further.

Installing Windows 10 Pro

I already wrote above that I had not been installing the OS on such laptops for a long time, so it was very interesting how exactly the new Windows 10 would cope with this task. I, from your permissions, I will omit the details of preparing the Windows 10 ISO image. I have already written about this many times in my articles. I will only note that once again I was convinced that no extraneous utility, except for MediaCreationTool, is simply no longer needed. It does an excellent job of installing the OS.

Since my laptop is completely bare and there is nothing on it, my first step was naturally to look into the BIOS. This has also been discussed and written about many times. Let me just post a picture with possible key combinations for entering the BIOS for almost all laptops.

Entering the same BIOS, our main and only task is in the section BOOT, which is easy to access using the buttons up-down, right-to the left, find here your bootable USB flash drive, which do not forget to insert into the USB port of the laptop. Now you need to put it in the system boot priority using all the same keys up down, then press the key F10 And Enter. We kindly request that you do not click or change anything else in the BIOS.

You will understand that the download has begun when you see a page with a choice of interface language, country and version of the operating system. That is, the procedure is actually similar to a clean installation of Windows 10. But I had one nuance, the solution of which I want to tell you about. When choosing a disk for installing the operating system, it turned out that I could not do this, since my disk partitions have the format MBR, and for installation you need GPT. Many people face this problem, so I think it is necessary to describe how to solve it.

You can solve the problems of converting MBR and GPT partitions using command line, which can be opened with a keyboard shortcut Shift+F10.You need to run the utility diskpart, then enter the command Listdisk to display a list of physical drives connected to the computer. Next, select the desired disk from the list that appears with the command selectdiskN, where N- the number of your disk you want to convert. It must be cleared by entering the command clean. It remains to enter the command convertgpt and the disk is ready to install the operating system. In the same way, you can convert from GPT in MBR, changing the last word when converting. I also want to note that in recent years I have stopped partitioning the hard drive into separate sections. Somehow I asked this question on the Microsoft forum, to which I received explanations that new HDD / SSD do not require special partitioning. If it is still customary to divide HDDs into partitions, many manufacturers do NOT recommend partitioning SSDs. I foresee your reaction to this phrase and therefore I draw your attention to the fact that DO NOT recommend, does not mean DO NOT. It all depends on your personal desire and need. Everything works fine for me without dividing into sections and there have never been force majeure circumstances.

I was very pleased that the installation took me no more than 40 minutes. Just answer the questions and click next. There is one observation: recently, when installing Windows 10, the system asks you to enter the pin code of the router instead of the WI-FI password, which can be easily found on the case of your device. I do not know what it is connected with, but the fact remains. And I strongly recommend that when installing Windows 10, be sure to have access to the Internet. The reason for such a request is very prosaic: if there is an Internet connection, then Windows 10 installs the drivers itself, providing a digital signature. Simply put, you do not have to dig through manufacturers' websites to find the right drivers. Forget about it if you bought a new laptop, even without an operating system installed.

After a while, the desktop will open and all pre-installed programs and applications from Microsoft will be downloaded to your laptop, that is, you can safely use your device.

Activating Windows 10 with a license key from Windows 8

As I said above, after installation, the Desktop opened, the system works fine, but you need to activate it. This can be done in two ways: when the system asks you to enter the key during the activation itself (I just missed this item) or through Settings-Update and Security-Activation. Since I did not have a Windows 10 activation key, I decided to try to activate the OS using the Windows 8 activation key, which had been quietly waiting in the wings for 3 years. I read that there is such a way, but it was necessary to check.

To my surprise, everything went smoothly and without surprises. In just a minute, my Windows 10 Pro was activated, which was eloquently written in the Activation section. That is, there is this way to activate Windows 10. I don’t know how long this loophole will exist, but it saved me a decent amount.
