The Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 video adapter is a budget model that first hit the market in 2010. The performance of the card was sufficient to run games released before 2011 at medium and high graphics settings. The device was also suitable for more modern applications, but now it belongs to budget models and has not been part of even inexpensive computers for a long time. - Metro 2033 launches on GTS graphics cards 450 only on minimum settings. Older versions are able to get no more than 41 fps, younger ones - up to 30. When you set the maximum resolution, the frame rate drops below acceptable values.
The strategy game World In Conflict showed the inability to play it using a video adapter with GDDR3 memory. Models with GDDR5 allow you to get, depending on the settings, from 17 to 35 fps.
In GTA4, all variants of the graphics adapter passed the test - for models with a higher memory frequency, the frequency reaches 64 frames per second, for younger versions the same figure is approximately 50.
More a new version, GTA V, also runs, but the performance leaves much to be desired for all modifications of the GTS 450. Fallout 4 also shows poor results, although it also runs, especially on cards with 2 GB GDDR3 or GDDR5.
Based on the test results, we can conclude that the video card parameters correspond to not too new and not the most productive games. Already at the time of the start of sales of the graphics adapter, its characteristics were not the best for gamers.
Right now, 2GB models are barely enough to run modern games at 720p, and 1GB and 512p models aren't even considered because they don't meet the minimum requirements.

Method 1: Official NVIDIA website
Searches for any software, including a graphics card driver, should start from the official website.
