Twitch is a service for video broadcasts (streams). Twitch - service for video broadcasts (streams) Creation of scenes and sources

Hello:)

As many people know Twitch.tv is a leading site for a video streaming platform focused on games and esports tournaments. I also gave my preference to this platform and recently I have been actively streaming various games on my channel zakrut TV. So let's get started registration on Twitch.tv.

Press the button " registration" in the upper right corner and the following window appears in front of us:

We fill in the fields, indicate the email address, but it can still be specified in the profile settings later. You can also log in using the social network Facebook.

After pressing the button " registration", we can already proceed with the profile settings.

We click on our login and from the drop-down menu select the item " Settings".

On the page " Settings" (Settings) we immediately get to the tab " Profile settings" (Profile Settings). Here you can enter your e-mail and confirm it. You can't change your name (login), just change the case of letters. You can use any picture for your profile photo. gif, jpeg or png and it should weigh no more than 3 mb. If you want a certain one, then make it square, so that it looks the way you need. Field " Biography"- write anything there, it will be displayed on the profile page. There is also the opportunity to delete your account forever. Also, do not forget about the button" Save Changes"(Save Changes).

Let's take a quick look at the rest of the tabs.

Turbo access (Turbo): Nothing special, just for 9 bucks a month you get some features that, for such a sum, are not needed.

Here you can change your profile password and set your privacy settings.

You can turn off all notifications to your e-mail or specific ones. As I understand it, the first option " Opt out of Chat Notification" refers to chat notifications, more precisely about new emojis, with a paid subscription. At the end there are options regarding applications and SMS notifications on the phone (they are not visible in the picture below).

We connect accounts from other services to our profile. A very convenient and useful option.

Paid subscription (Subscriptions): Manage your paid subscriptions.

We figured out the settings, now let's see what the profile page looks like. To do this, click " Profile" (Profile) in the left menu.

To change the profile banner - click the corresponding button in the upper right corner " Change profile banner" (Change Profile Banner). A window will appear where you can select a picture, as well as change the background color.

What does registration on Twitch.tv give:

  • Ability to chat.
  • Follow the start of broadcasts of your favorite channels.
  • Creating your own channel, etc.
  • You can also send private messages to other users.

Well, we signed up for Twitch.tv, as well as figured out the basic settings. Next time I will talk about . See you soon and don't forget to subscribe to my channel zakrut TV .

Channel promotion on Twitch - twitchmaster.com(free viewers and no bots).

Hello everyone, Nikita Mashkov is in touch, today I will provide you with detailed instructions on how to create a channel on Twitch.

We will figure out why Twitch is needed at all, what benefits you can get from it, and how to create your own channel. Also at the end of the article, you can ask your questions.

Twich.tv- a platform designed specifically for broadcasting video games. Here, everyone can either watch how other players play, or start their own video broadcast.

Also, due to its popularity, Twitch TV is used to broadcast most of the eSports events, which makes it a kind of "Gaming Center", which can be compared to a television channel.

The daily audience of the site, at the time of writing, is 20 million visitors.

Well, what do we get from this?

As I said above: you can also start your broadcast (stream) here.

Moreover, this can be done not only so that someone just looks at you and comments, but also in order to make money on this business.

In his last article, Sergey already wrote about. But he and I decided that this material was too superficial and that blog readers would probably want to know more.

Therefore, starting from this article, I will try to tell in detail about the process that a newbie streamer needs to go through, who wants to make money on this business.

Mini course: "From registration to the first Donat in 24 hours."

Our free mini-course will be called: "From registration to the first Donate in 24 hours."

And before I start, I want to briefly tell you about myself and my experience, so that you know and understand who is going to teach you something here.

I am not a TOP streamer, I have never received large donations. Therefore, you should not expect any secrets or chips from me on how to promote users for a generous donation.

At the same time, I have already helped set up and design dozens of channels, and every client was satisfied. My experience and my activities are exclusively related to technical settings and design. Here I am the master.

As an example, you can look at my work: [example_1], [example_2], [example_3].

Minimum Requirements

Unfortunately, in order to engage in such an exciting activity as making money on Twitch, you must meet the minimum requirements. And now we are not talking about your level of knowledge and not about the brilliance of your smile, face control lets everyone in.

These are the minimum system requirements for your computer. The minimum that I personally would recommend is:

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Headphones - so that the sound from the speakers does not interfere with hearing you
  • Microphone - if you plan not only to demonstrate your skills, but also to comment
  • Webcam - many viewers are interested in looking not only at what is happening in the game, but also at your facial expression

In general, the parameters of the video card and RAM are a bit exaggerated, since, personally, I prefer to stream new items that are quite demanding on gaming hardware.

But, if you manage to captivate the viewer with a card game, then a weak PC will do.

In general, you must understand: without high-quality hardware, the broadcast will not be of high quality or it will be completely impossible to start it.

For viewers, this is very bad, they will simply not be interested in watching your stream.

Agree, listening to stuttering and looking at an eternally slowing down picture is not interesting to anyone.

Twitch - registration

Let's start with the simplest, namely, registering on Twitch.

I say right away: I will describe the registration process in as much detail as possible, so that later there will be fewer questions.

So, to register on Twitch, you need to go to the official website www.twitch.tv.

Here we will see the “Subscribe” button in the right corner, click on it. Now you have to come up with your username and password:

If you see that after you have entered your name and password, you suddenly see a red exclamation mark, then such a nickname already exists. Come up with another one.

It is also important to know: What nickname you indicate during registration, it will remain so, keep in mind that it will be impossible to change it later in the settings. And if you still really want to do this, then you will have to create a new channel on Twitch.

Enter the email address to which you should receive an email confirming your account after registration.

At the end, do not forget to enter or confirm the captcha so that a checkmark is highlighted and click on the "Subscribe" button.

www.twitch.tv Features

Today, active users of the video streaming service twitch.tv have a bunch of fans who constantly follow their broadcasts. Just like on YouTube, the owners of the most popular channels can receive money, that is, earn money. Twitch gets along well with many electronic payment systems, both domestic and foreign. Basically, the service hosts a constant stream on behalf of ordinary users, but due to the large number of viewers, it also broadcasts eSports competitions and other important events from the world of the gaming industry. Twitch is rightfully considered the first specialized resource for those who are ardent fans of the huge gaming universe.

Game industry

The gaming industry is relatively young, but thanks to its rapid development, it will soon catch up with cinema in some respects. Some games have already become cult, and some have become independent esports disciplines with huge prize funds. Today, a large number of specialized resources have been created that are directly related to the world of games and related events. Here are specialized news resources (which review the latest news and learn some details about future projects), online game stores (Steam) and the well-known www.twitch.tv.

The project from the very beginning of its existence was created for video streaming, that is, each player could broadcast his gameplay to the network. It was not a separate project, the service was launched on the website justin.tv to reduce server load. The site officially launched in June 2011. The first attempts to create it were made back in 2008, but then nothing came of it, and no one knew whether such a service was needed. After two years of existence, the service has been called the catalyst of the gaming world. The audience of the project is growing very rapidly, today the site is visited by more than 45 million users every month, of which 6 million are constant streamers. www.twitch.tv is the first dedicated resource that allows gamers from all over the world to stream their game directly to the site.

Twitch is one of the main services for setting up and hosting your own video broadcasts on the Internet. After registration, each user has the opportunity to create their own channel and conduct streams. The service also provides a special affiliate program, which makes it possible to earn money on streams using various methods.

In this article, we will tell you in detail how to register on the twitch.tv website, how to set up a video broadcast, and also take a detailed look at all the ways to make money on streams that are provided by the service as part of an affiliate program.

To start your first broadcast on twitch.tv, you need to additionally install OBS studio (Open Broadcaster Software) on your computer. You can do this completely free of charge from the official website obsproject.com. In this article, we will not consider in detail the entire installation process, since there is a separate article about this on our website.

Earning on Twitch

To make money on Twitch, you must first promote your channel so that it meets the minimum requirements of the service. To do this, it is necessary to conduct live video broadcasts at least 3 times a week, lasting at least 6 hours. The service also imposes requirements on the minimum number of online viewers (from 500 people on each broadcast).

When connecting an affiliate program, the requirements can be reduced by the decision of the moderators of the service. Some streamers manage to connect to the Twitch affiliate program with as little as 100 viewers. According to the help section that exists on the twitch.tv website, each video channel is considered separately and according to a combination of various criteria. The most important thing is to broadcast regularly and constantly fill your channel with new streams.

If you are developing your channel on twitch.tv and regularly make new streams, you like to play games, then sooner or later you will be able to enable monetization anyway.

Earnings from game sales

This type of earnings on Twitch was launched in the spring of 2017. All partners can earn 5% from the sale of games and in-game items that are advertised on the channel. It looks like this - a special button "Buy now" appears under the broadcast. The streamer will earn 5% of each viewer purchase. At the same time, you don’t need to sell anything on your own, the entire payment process and all actions related directly to the product itself lie on the service side.

To connect this method of monetization, you need to go to the control panel on the "Partner Settings" tab. Scroll down to the "Monetization" section, here you need to check the box "Include revenue from the sale of games." All you have to do is check the box and save your changes.

Earnings on paid subscriptions

Each streamer can earn by offering paid subscriptions to their channel. The number of subscribers will directly depend on the various bonuses and the quality of the content offered. Currently, there are 4 types of paid subscriptions on Twitch, depending on the cost.

Earnings on advertising

This type of earnings depends entirely on the number of stream views on your channel. The essence of earning is very simple - during the video broadcast, a commercial is shown, for which money is charged. The amount of earnings depends on the number of views of the advertising video. Many viewers may have various ad blockers enabled in their browser, which affects the final amount of earnings. However, successful streamers who collect a huge audience make very good money from watching video ads. Such earnings can reach tens and even hundreds of thousands of rubles.
