Vkontakte "takes care" of its users. VKontakte leaks data from the FSB and Ashnoy scum: The technology of fabricating a criminal case for like and repost VK leaks information about users

Written in detail. how VKontakte, in illegal close cooperation with the state, helps to imprison its users.

This is not an exaggeration.

VK is not obliged to give information at the request of any cop (only by court order), but they have a special mailbox, to which the cops send scans of IP / number requests, and they are answered.
VK helps to plant users.

Already the third criminal case for the Vkontakte page in Barnaul, but for now let's talk about these two girls.

No, they were not prosecuted, as you might think.
There must be a victim in the case, therefore, as a rule, people close to the cops act as professional sufferers and informers.

These are Anastasia Bitner and Daria Isaenko, who are studying to be police officers.
They write statements because they saw the pictures and were very offended.
There would have been links to their VKontakte pages so that you could explain good and evil to them, but what an irony - they also had to remove them.

Quoting their testimony from the case file:
“All the images I saw offended me as a believer, I became very unpleasant from the images that I saw. The images of black children touched me. I felt some kind of hatred and hostility towards them, which were transmitted through images and texts.

If a person feels hatred for black people because of pictures and texts, then he is just stupid (I'm not talking about choosing the profession of policemen), and if he helps to imprison innocent people, then he's also a bastard.

And the problem is not that there are people who imprison the innocent or torture the helpless. They will be everywhere and always.
The problem is that in Russia these people have power. But this, sooner or later, will end.

Terms for posts in social networks are not uncommon for Russia for a long time, but here is a new precedent: law enforcement agencies are now showing interest not only in publications, but also in files that users save from social network In contact with. Ilya Shepelin managed to contact Maria Motuznaya, a resident of Barnaul, who had already been included in the list of extremists and terrorists before the trial for publishing a photo on VKontakte, she faces up to 6 years in prison.

On August 13, Andrey Rogozov, managing director of VK, published a post where he stated that the fundamental value of the social network is free communication. He said that VK will soon introduce an option that will make user pages available only to friends, photo albums have already become closed by default, and in the coming days, only its authors will be able to see who reposted this or that material.

Rogozov complained that investigators often do not understand the context and prefer to open criminal cases immediately. Recall that on August 6, the Mail.ru Group (Vkontakte is part of the group) called for amnesty for those convicted for likes and reposts on social networks.

The publication, citing sources in the CPE Ministry of Internal Affairs, notes that there is a considerable amount of slyness in such statements. Requests always indicate which article is being investigated, the nature of the suspicions and links to pages of interest.

An example is the sensational case of Barnaul resident Maria Motuznaya. On August 12, already under investigation, she published pages from the criminal case. It follows from the materials that VKontakte provided the Ministry of Internal Affairs in advance with data on the IP addresses from which Maria accessed her page, the history of blocking and name changes.

Explaining this circumstance, VK stated that criminal liability is provided for failure to provide information upon official requests. The only thing that the social network can do is to carefully check the requests for compliance with the law and look for formal reasons for refusal in them. "VK" once again emphasizes that it is not always clear from the texts of requests whether we are talking about a serial maniac or a careless schoolboy who reposted a meme.

A source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs in an interview with Dailystorm noted that if a criminal case has already been opened, the entire plot of the case is indicated in the requests. If the request is made as part of a pre-investigation check, then here the police write on what basis the check is carried out and under what article the user can be held liable.

For example, the Robot-Review building publishes a copy of the request for user information. The document contains the article "posting extremist materials" and a link to the user's page.

A sanctioned rally is being held today in Barnaul in support of Maria Motuznaya. In recent months, three more residents have been prosecuted in the city for online extremism.

Earlier, rapper Oxxxymiron made a call to go to the rally. He stressed that the girl must be saved before her life was finally ruined.

Reaction in the Kremlin

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said today that he was not aware of the situation in Barnaul before the journalists told him about it. He urged to carefully deal with each individual case individually and not to equalize everyone "one size fits all". Peskov recalled that during the direct line, Vladimir Putin said: "Common sense must be preserved in each specific case."

Leonid Volkov, who previously headed Alexei Navalny's campaign headquarters, has tweeted evidence that VK is disclosing user data, even without a court order. He provided photocopies of a request from the "E" center in Bashkiria and a response from the security service of the social network "VK".

Oh, and let's someone else from VK tell us how they respond only to legitimate requests by court order, cannot disclose anything because of the "secrecy of the investigation" and meet the deadlines?
Look what a charm, especially the postscript at the end. pic.twitter.com/iQVYocTh5w

— Leonid Volkov (@leonidvolkov) August 17, 2018

The request was submitted on January 18 as part of an audit that was conducted due to a protest supporting the "Voter Strike". This action was scheduled for the end of January. Center "E" requested information about the activists of the Ufa headquarters, their pages, as well as the pages of this headquarters and the aforementioned action.

VK leaks information about users

The materials published by Volkov on Twitter prove that the social network simply provided all the information about its users, even their phone numbers and IP addresses from which the pages were visited.

So far, Volkov has not revealed his source of information. Meduza sent him a request, but he has yet to receive a response.

It has already been repeatedly criticized due to the fact that it transfers all the data of its users to the special services and the police, and they, in turn, use it for criminal prosecution (even for reposts).

The VK justifies its actions with existing laws and calls for changes in the legislation and amnesty for those convicted of reposting.

And here is a commentary on the news of the VK press service, we read and enjoy:

Press service of VKontakte:

The fact of the presence or absence of an initiated criminal case from the point of view of the law does not matter - according to the law "On Police" and the law "On Investigative Activities", we are obliged to provide law enforcement agencies with the necessary information to fulfill their powers.

All interaction takes place exclusively officially, we always require the provision of all documents through official channels and carefully check each request. Requests made inappropriately are left unanswered. In this case, a formal written request was received. In addition, we note that the request was received from the official e-mail address of the mvd.ru website.

As we have already said several times, we consider it necessary to improve the legislation. We advocate an amnesty for unjustly convicted users and the decriminalization of such cases in the future.
